December 5, 2023 at 7:39 pmI have been a customer for several years so naturally when my brother advised that he wanted to purchase an engagement ring I referred him to Olga Jewelry. My brother purchased an engagement ring from them December 22, 2022. It is less than one year since the purchase! One of the prongs on the ring broke! I called the store to inquire on the repair process! We were advised to bring the ring in for repair! When we arrived Olga stated that the ring wasn’t 10K! Thank goodness he used his credit card! She then said you wouldn’t have spent 10k you would have gone to Zales! He was racially profiled! She then went on to advise my brother to wait for her husband to come in which was two hours later. She tried to recant her statement buy saying she didn’t mean anything by it. I have reached out to Spectrum News1 for further assistance as this should never happen to anyone! This is a capital expense. Olga then asked one of the neighboring jewelers to repair the ring opposed to providing my brother with the manufacturers contact information. They are asking him to pay $500 for the repairs. This is a manufacturers defect. Are they afraid that we will see the markup on the item? Why can’t this company either give him a full refund or put him in touch with the company that designed the ring initially.
