With an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a Masters degree in Business Management from Lehigh University, she quit her corporate analytical position in New York City and moved to San Francisco, California in 2004. After adapting her 15-year hobby and love for jewelry creation into a small company, Alissa began to meet the increasing demand for her bespoke jewelry.

After ten years in Santa Cruz, Alissa started relocating to St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands, on a part-time basis to grow her operations and establish a second studio. Today, she travels the world to sell her jewelry at special events, trunk shows, and private parties, and her jewelry is now available in stores from coast to coast in the United States, Hawaii, the Virgin Islands, and other Caribbean islands such as the British Virgin Islands and Nevis.
