November 20, 2022 at 3:20 amTook an expensive ring PL900, Diamonds an sapphire over 3.40 CTW ring to them to be sized up one size. They returned it after 7 days with two crack lines or joint lines and deep crimp marks on the band, totally unacceptable workmanship and sub par quality of work. They pretended they couldn’t see it, till I took pictures with my phone and enlarged them , very clear…. They then would not admit fault and asked for 3 more days to correct the ring. Picking the ring up I noticed it still has joint markings, then the bottom of sapphire was completely dirty and there was a chip in it??? Not only that but the entire lower band had tool markings on its edges suggesting it was never final polished and by the looks of the sapphire it was never ultrasonic cleaned or in the least steam sprayed to clean. This was one of the worst experiences I have had with a jeweler in over 20 yrs. And in that time I have had over 40 rings sized, with rings from 1000$ to over 20,000$ from Platinum to 18k – 24k white/Yellow Gold to silver John hardy and David Yurman Rings. S & Stone Jewelers Has no pride in their workmanship or quality of workmanship they show a clear lack of ability to jeweler simple tasks like sizing a ring, polishing a ring or even handle a ring as mine was dropped on the tile floor right in front of me. I would have never written a review had the ring been done correctly the SECOND time, however they failed to even succeed at that, as I will have to pay another jeweler to correct this atrocious work done by Sand & Stone J , take MASTER off the door because even an apprentice jeweler would not produce such poor quality of work.
